Start with a consultation.

Tell us what you are working on — a transaction, a transfer, an entity question, or a notice from the IRS — and we will tell you whether and how we can help before any engagement begins. The more concrete you can be about the situation and the timeline, the more useful that first conversation will be.

A short note by email is the easiest way to start. A sentence or two on what you are trying to do, where things stand, and any deadline you are facing is plenty for us to gauge fit and propose a next step. If the matter is time-sensitive — a notice with a response date, or a deal moving toward signing — say so, and we will treat it accordingly.

New matters are taken selectively, and we will be candid if yours is better served elsewhere. Please do not send confidential or sensitive details in a first message: an attorney–client relationship begins only once we have agreed to the work in writing, and an initial inquiry does not create one.

The office is in downtown Chattanooga and serves clients throughout Tennessee and the surrounding region. Consultations can be arranged by phone or in person during regular business hours, and we will confirm a time once we have heard a little about the matter.
